Lovely car for lovely people - Do & Jo bought us their nice resto cal 67 and let us loose to build this chopped Cal Looker. The most subtle roof chop we have performed to date on a Beetle. For full details check out November '08 Ultra VW.

Featured in Volksworld Summer 2004 issue. The most radical “pair” we have worked on to date, Martin’s car has just appeared in the August 2007 issue of Hot Rod Magazine and had a fantastic feature in the September 2004 Custom Car.

As you will see from the photos the car was a bit of a mess when it was spied it at the Pomona Swap Meet. This genuine old racecar was featured in Ultra VW in January 2007.

This is the 2nd car we have built for Mark. His first car “Cabster” was featured in Volksworld back in July 1994 and Rat Catcher has been featured in Ultra VW June 2006, VW Speed January 2007 and even Australian Street Rodding in March 2007! Lately it has been stated that this car influenced the start of Type Magazine and is one of Brett Hawksbee’s top pick of cars in his new Bug Jam Book.

No it’s not the Paintbox car it’s Jo’s used in the fantastic Meguiars ad campaign, the candy razor has been seen in every magazine you can think of (and our ugly mugs!). For a full run down on this wicked car check out Volksworld October 2003 and Custom Car November 2003.
